Minister of State for Community Development and Charities Jerry Buttimer officially launched Kilkenny Volunteer Centre’s new Strategic Plan during a special celebration marking five years of supporting volunteering across the county.
Speaking through a special video message shared at the event, Minister Buttimer recognised the important role Volunteer Centres play in strengthening communities and supporting volunteers and community organisations across Ireland.
The launch of the Strategic Plan marks an important milestone for Kilkenny Volunteer Centre as we look ahead to the next five years of supporting, promoting and strengthening volunteering throughout the county.
The launch took place during National Volunteering Week at a special event in Hotel Kilkenny attended by volunteers, community organisations, partners and supporters from across the county.
