To celebrate National Volunteering week 2023 we were delighted to Launch The Diary of a Volunteer Project in KCAT Arts and Study Centre in Callan on Friday the 19th of May.
The launch marks the culmination of a 12 week digital story telling project where participants were invited from various organisations in Callan to collaborate and upskill in the art of story telling, video production and editing.
The project was funded through the Arts and Culture Grant awarded by Community Education, K.C.E.T.B. Facilitated by award winning tutor Gillian Grattan, participants have now produced a series of video’s showcasing the impact of volunteering in Callan and hope to inspire others to get involved.
